Rosemary is native to the Mediterranean basin including Morocco and Tunisia. It is used in many fields: cooking, phytotherapy ... It is mainly known to be the main component of the "Water of the Queen of Hungary" in the fourteenth century. This water, used as perfume but also prevention against certain diseases of the time.

Rosemary is a shrub growing mainly on calcareous soils. It can measure up to 2 meters in height, its leaves are long, leathery, coiled and dark green. Its flowers in spikes are pale violet.
