History & Traditions :
Sweet orange is originally from South America (Mexico, Brazil) but also from China. The Portuguese navigators brought it back to Europe in the 16th century. It is very often used during the Christmas period to decorate and perfume the houses. Rich in Vitamin C, it has many virtues.
Orange is a fruit with a thick, rough orange skin. The leaves are long and sharp and the flowers are white and grow in groups.
