History & Traditions :

Ylang-Ylang is native to Southeast Asia, Africa, and Indonesia, but it is mostly grown in Madagascar and the Comoros. It means "flower of flowers", in Indonesia, because there is no flower for them that equals Ylang-ylang.

It is a 30-meter-tall tree that is pruned regularly cut to 3 meters in cultivation to facilitate regrowth and harvest. Its leaves are tough in long branches. The flowers, yellow, are often in clusters, with long petals emitting a captivating odor.
