History & Traditions :

Palmarosa is part of the family of citronella and lemongrass (Poaceae). It is also known as "Indian Geranium" due to its smell similar to the rose. This plant is native to India and Nepal, and has many virtues. It has been used for a long time in Ayurvedic medicine, but also in perfumery, cosmetics, and cooking.

Large herbaceous plant, with long and narrow leaves, which exudes a scent close to that of the rose. Its flowers resemble those of geranium.
