History & Traditions :
Niaouli is native from New Caledonia although it is grown today in tropical regions such as Madagascar. It is widely used among tribes who use them to build their huts and heal themselves. During the Second World War, soldiers in New Zealand protected themselves from the mosquitoes with this essential oil.
It is a tree that can measure up to 12 meters with a tortuous trunk and a laminated bark that stands out. Its leaves are long, persistent and tough. As for its flowers, they are white and grow by three.
