History & Traditions :
The Melissa is cultivated in Europe, in particular in France or in the Eastern Countries. In Greek, "melissa" means “bee”, and for good reason it is a melliferous plant used for the production of honey. It was very often used in France in the 17th century.
It is a perennial plant of gardens, which measures up to 80 cm. Its leaves are serrated, embossed and oval as to its flowers, they are white and long.
