History & Traditions :
Helichrysum grows in Mediterranean countries like Spain, Italy, France (Corsica) or even in the Balkans and more particularly on arid soils. It is also called Everlasting because its flowers have an exceptional longevity. Its name comes from the Greek "helios" and "chrysos" meaning sun and gold recalling its color.
It is a perennial plant of 50 cm composed of elongated and narrow leaves measuring approximately 3 cm. Its flowers are golden yellow and worn by a long thin stem.
