Originally from Australia but also from Tasmania, it grows in tropical climates, but also in warm temperate zones, especially around the Mediterranean. It is one of the 600 listed species of Eucalyptus.

Eucalyptus Polybractea is a tree up to 10 meters high. Its leaves are green-gray and rounded, it is they which contain the essential oil very fragrant.
