History & Traditions :
Cypress is recognized as the symbol of immortality due to its longevity. It quickly spread to the entire Mediterranean basin, of which it became the symbol.
This tree can retain its green color throughout the year, thanks to its long roots and narrow leaves with scales tightened, hence its name Cypress always green. It is a conifer that can reach up to 30 m, whose essential oil comes mainly from Spain and France (Provence).
