Thuya Occidentalis is native to North America, especially Canada, but it is also found in France. In Greek, Tuya comes from the word "thyia" referring to the perfumed wood of this tree.

Thuja is a green and bushy tree, with flattened and persistent leaves. This tree has a conical shape.
