History & Traditions :
Argan originating mainly from Morocco grows on arid soils. It has been used for a long time by the Berbers for its cosmetic, therapeutic and of course culinary properties.
Argan is the fruit of the argan tree, a tree 10 meters tall able to live up to 200 years. Its leaves are elongated, oval, resistant and light green in color. As for its flowers, they are white and sometimes yellow, they are small and give birth to the fruit. The argan is provided with a very hard shell core containing the almonds. The oil is extracted from its almonds.
